Abstract
Latar belakang: Gigitan terbalik anterior dan posterior merupakan maloklusi yang dapat dikoreksi menggunakan peranti ortodonti lepasan dengan sekrup Bertoni karena efektif dan sesuai untuk ekspansi seluruh lengkung geligi kearah transversal dan sagital. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui teknik pembuatan peranti ortodonti lepasan dengan sekrup Bertoni pada kasus gigitan terbalik anterior dan posterior. Kasus: Laboratorium gigi menerima model kerja rahang atas dengan kasus gigitan terbalik anterior dan posterior dan mendapatkan intruksi membuat peranti ortodondi lepasan dengan sekrup Bertoni. Desainnya yaitu cengkeram Adams pada gigi 16,14, dan 26, 24 sebagai komponen retensi serta sekrup Bertoni yang terletak diantara gigi kaninus dan premolar satu rahang atas sebagai komponen aktif. Kesimpulan: Pembuatan peranti ortodonti lepasan dengan sekrup Bertoni yaitu menggambar desain pada model, pembuatan cengkeram Adams, pemasangan sekrup Bertoni, pengisian akrilik, finishing dan polishing serta pembelahan plat akrilik.
