Abstract

This research aimed to know the changed damage of goramy fish (Osphronemus goramy) hepatopancreas cell were exposed by cypermethrin insecticide. This research used twenty four of goramy fish with average weight 5-10 grams, size 4-6 cm, age ± three months. This research was designed by completely randomized design (CRD). All of population of the goramy fish were divided into four groups, consist six repetitions each, namely P1, P2, P3, and P0 as a negative control respectively. P1 group was given with dosage of cypermethrin insecticide 0.02 mg/liter, P2 was given with dosage of cypermethrin insecticide 0.03 mg/liter, and P3 was given with dosage of cypermethrin insecticide 0.04 mg/liter. According to the macroscopic observed, show that hepatopancreas became swollen and pale. The histopathological features of hepatopancreas were examined under light microscope in 400 times magnification. Scoring method were using Bernet Scoring Method to examined the presence of degeneration, necrotic, congesti, and inflammation reaction. The statistical analysis showed the significant result (p<0.05). P3 group with dosage of cypermethrin insecticide 0.04 mg/liter caused a severe level of goramy fish hepatopancreas cell damage.
