Abstract

The objective of this study was to obtaining validated method for determination of organochlorine pesticides residue in kencur, using gas chromatography with flame ionization detector. Sample preparation was conducted QuEChERS method. It is a streamlined and effective extraction and cleanup approach for analysis of pesticides residues in complex matrices. The method has been validated for 3 organochlorine pesticides with the result for selectivity parameter, resolution is greater than 1,5. The linier regression showed good linierity with R2 > 0,995. Limit of detection and limit of quantitation values were in the ranges 0,08–0,29 ppm and 0,27 – 0,96 ppm. The recoveries of the 4 pesticides were in the range 60,90% - 94,90% with coefficients of variation in the range 8,66% - 13,62%
