Abstract
Penelitian yang dilakukan ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui mengidentifikasi serta menganalisis secara empiris interaksi antara leverage yang ditetapkan sebagai variabel moderasi dengan cash flow untuk memprediksi financial distress pada perusahaan sektor pertambangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode tahun 2013-2017. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan denga metode purposive sampling dalam rentang waktu 5 tahun. Dari observasi tersebut didapatkan 51 sampel yang sesuai dengan kategori penelitian. Data dianalisis menggunakan adalah Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Program SPSS dimanfaatkan untuk pengolahan data sehingga menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa leverage sebagai variabel moderasi tidak memperkuat hubungan antara cash flow dengan prediksi financial distress yang memiliki variabel control diantaranya profitabilitas dan ukuran perusahaan.
