Abstract

The existence of the BUMD has a strategic position to support the implementation of regional autonomy. Optimization of BUMDs can boost the economy, so there is a need for harmony and balance in the banking sector. In this case, the bureaucratic and unwavering BPR Bank Jombang, requires the restructuring of its legal entity from PD to Perseroda to free the company to operate independently with due respect for corporate governance. That, with the change in the form of a legal entity, the legal provisions relating to banking shall apply and be subject to the provisions of Law No. 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies.
