Abstract
Orthosiphon stamineus Benth is one of medicinal plant which grows in Indonesia. Traditionally, this plant can be used as antihypertensive, diuretic, antidiabetic, antiinflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal, gallstones, edema, and influenza. Therefore, the plant has potential to be developed into standardized herbal medicine (OHT) and phytopharmaca. Furthermore, non-specific and specific parameters are determined to ensure the therapeutic effect based on the Indonesian Herbal Pharmacopoeia method. This standardization research was carried out by determining the parameters of Orthosiphonis Folium obtained from PT Herbacore, Gresik. Spesific parameters of crude drug include water soluble extractive content (24,48 ± 1,125)%, ethanol soluble extractive content (14,16 ± 0,340)%, sinensetin content ((6,40 ± 6,31) x 10-5)%. Whereas non spesific parameters include loss on drying (7,57 ± 0,207)%, total ash content (11,82 ± 0,057)%, insoluble acid ash content (4,33 ± 0,106)%,
