Abstract

Cervical cancer is a malignancy that occurs on lire cervix. Cervical cancer included in many malignant cancer that strikes women. Preliminary studies in POSA Hospital Dr. Soetomo indicate society has a good appreciation for the early detection of cervical cancer with VIA methods so that discovery increases the incidence of cervical cancer from 2010-2012 . This methods has found 60 cases of precancerous lesions and 13 cases of suspect / suspicious cervical cancer. This study aims to determine the relationship between the women's age when coilarelle and the length of the use of oral combination pills with lhe incidence of cervical cancer in POSA RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya The study was an observational analytic cross sectional approach. The study population was all gynecologic oncology patients who visited in May 2013. Sampling technique with consecutive sampling with a sample size 92 people. Analysis of the data used the Chi-Square lest wiht a = 0.05. The result slrowedfrom 92 gynecologic oncology patients were 72 women going on cervical cancer (78.3%), 67 women (71.6%) that their age when coitarche < 20 years and 41 women (44.6%) that the length of the use of combination oral pills ~ 5 years. Chi-Square test showed that there is association between the women's age when coitarche with the incidence of cervical cancer with p value = 0.025 < a = 0.05. Chi-Square test also showed that there isn't association between the length of the use of combination oral pills with cervical cancer incidence with p value = 0.834> a = 0.05. As a conclusion, there is association between the women's age when coitarche with the incidence of cervical cancer and there isn't association between the length of the use of combination oral pills with the incidence of cervical cancer.
