Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between the quality of parent-adolescent communication with behavioral tendencies passionate love. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method, the type of explanatory. Subjects were high school students some 41 people. Scale data collection tools such as Quality of parent-adolescent communication and behavioral tendencies passionate love scale as each 43 item and 36 item. The second scale reliability test using Cronbach Alpha. Scale Quality of parent-adolescent communication has reliability 0.959 and behavioral tendencies passionate love has reliability 0.917. The data analysis was done by using statistical correlation (product moment correlation) of Spearman, with the help of SPSS 18.0 for Windows Stats. The results of the analysis of research data obtained correlation value perception of violence in the family with the trend of juvenile delinquency with p equal to 0.044 - 0.316. This suggests that there is a relationship between the quality of parent-adolescent communication behavioral tendencies passionate love.
