Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of gossypol influence as natural insect killer. The experiment animals were twenty insect, divided into five treatments and seven replications. Five different treatments, K: controls (spraying with aquades CMC Na), K+: spraying with insecticide as Baigon, P1: spraying by extract gossypol with concentration 20%, P2: spraying by extract gossypol with concentration 40% and P3: spraying by extract gossypol with concentration 80%,. The data were analyzed using the Analysis of Variance Statistic Method Uji F and if there were differences among the treatments, Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT Test was used. Research results there were significantly differences among treatments to dead of cricket as natural insect killer. However the best result was in treatment P2 (40%) concentration of gossipol).
