Abstract

There are several limitations to this systematic review. The first is that the author does not have access to large databases such as EMBASE. Therefore, the relevant search results for this review were very limited despite having tried multiple search strategies. The second limitation is related to the first: due to the limited search results, there was large heterogeneity in the data available. This rendered the author unable to generate a quantitative synthesis, and so the effect size of each outcome could not be measured
