Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is one of the programs which is seen as a corporation responsibility about social matter to the stakeholder and the environment of all operational aspect of the corporation. As a new phenomenon in Indonesia, CSR activity is to get Triple Bottom Line that contains 3P (profit, people, and planet). So, besides chasing profit for the stakeholder, the company should involve to the people’s prosperity, and also actively take care of the everlasting environment. Therefore a sustainable development will be achieved. Through the Corporate Development Center, PT Telkom Divre V (PTTD V) East Java held a “ Telkom Peduli ” social agenda since 2001. This world class telecommunication operator gets an award as The Best Corporate Social Responsibility reporting in 2007 Annual Report and Corporate Social Responsibility Award in the 2008 Indonesia Sustainability Reporting Award. Problem used in this research is “How and what the factors which influenced the implementation of CSR in PTD V East Java? “. To answer that problem before hand, this research uses a qualitative research method with descriptive type. The research took place at Jl. Ketintang 156 Surabaya, then the implementation CSR location is done on Taman Bungkul (Raya Darmo), Taman Blora (Ngagel) is made for wi-fi zone and other facilities, even at plazas in Surabaya such as BG Junction are gotten hot spot facilities from Telkom. Telkom clinic at Jl. Pulo Wonokromo 9 is built to prove that Telkom also concern about health problem. A total 16 informant, the informant is selected with “purposive sampling “In the sampling, this research used In-depth Interview and documentary. Analyze data technique is qualitative, such as data reduction, data presentation, and also the result. Analyzing is done by not only all of results found in the middle of the research, but also relevant information from secondary data. It is bound to a problem this research wants to fully answer.
