Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai wacana tubuh perempuan yang dipolitisasi dalam film Tespack, You’re My Baby. Peneliti tertarik untuk mempertanyakan hal ini karena perempuan digambarkan tidak memiliki kuasa akan tubuhnya sendiri. Film TestPack menampilkan perempuan dengan kekuasaannya di wilayah publik. Perempuan pencari nafkah, yang memiliki hak untuk bekerja diluar dan menggapai kesuksesan dalam kariernya. Namun disamping itu film testpack menampilkan peran perempuan sebagai istri, dengan sebuah tuntutan lingkungan agar segera memiliki anak. Hal ini bagi peneliti, membuat film TestPack menggambarkan sebuah politisasi tubuh perempuan untuk menjalani fungsi reproduksinya dan menjadi seorang ibu, yang berfungsi untuk melanjutkan keturunan keluarga. Hal inilah yang membuat film TestPack memilki signifikansi untuk diteliti dibandingkan film yang lain. Karena film Testpack menampilkan pasangan dengan perempuan yang dituntut untuk menjalani perannya sebagai ibu, namun pasangan tersebut tidak bisa menghasilkan keturunan. Penelitian ini ingin melihat bagaimana tubuh perempuan diwacanakan serta dipolitisasi dalam film TestPack:You Are My Baby. Untuk dapat menjelaskan bagaimana wacana tentang politik tubuh perempuan yang ditampilkan dalam film TestPack:You Are My Baby. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori gender dan kuasa tubuh sebagai dasar menganalisis wacana dalam teks dan gambar yang ditampilkan dalam film tersebut. Menggunakan analisis wacana Fairclough, penelitian ini menghubungkan antara teks, praktik wacana, dan praktik sosial budaya. Penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa perempuan dapat terperangkap dalam tubuh mereka sendiri dari tanda serta peran yang ditempelkan pada tubuhnya. Perempuan telah terpenjara dalam standar-satandar kecantikan yang diwacanakan melalui tubuh mereka dan lingkungan sosial merupakan faktor yang mempengaruhi perempuan untuk merasa bersalah bila tidak memiliki keturunan setelah lama menikah. Lingkungan sosial seolah menekankan kembali ‘kodrat’ yang telah dikonstruksi sejak lama, bahwa kesalahan dalam berjalan atau tidaknya fungsi reproduksi berada di pihak perempuan, dikarenakan perempuan yang memiliki Rahim dan sel telur. Perempuan dan tubuhnya pada akhirnya akan tetap menjadi pihak yang salah, dan pihak yang ditekan oleh lingkungan. Perempuan dibuat tak bisa memilih untuk menjadi cantik seperti apa yang dia inginkan. Dan tak bisa menentukan sendiri apakah dia ingin memfungsikan organ reproduksi sebagai bagian dari tubuhnya atau tidak. Karena standar-standar telah dibuat dan terapkan pada tubuh perempuan, tubuh perempuan bukanlah miliknya personal, melainkan milik bersama—lingkungan, sosial, ekonomi, politik, dan budaya. Translation: This study discuss about the discourse of politicized female body in Tespack movie, You're My Baby. Writer is interested about this topic because the because women are portrayed not have her own will power. TestPack films showing women with her power in public areas. Female breadwinners, who have the right to work outside and reach success in her career. But besides that, testpack movie playing the role of women as wives, with an environmental demands to immediately have a child. Writer assuming that TestPack describe a politicization of the female body to undergo reproductive function and become a mother, which serves to continue the family lineage. This is what makes the film TestPack have the significance to be studied than other films. Because Testpack movie showing couples of women who are required to undergo her role as a mother, but they could not have offspring. This study wanted to see how the female body and politicized discourse in the film TestPack: You Are My Baby. To be able to explain how the political discourse about the female body is shown in the TestPack: You Are My Baby. This study uses the theory of gender and power of the body as the basis for analyzing the discourse in the text and the images shown in the film. Using Fairclough discourse analysis, this study links between text, discourse practice, and socio-cultural practices. This study shows that women can be trapped in their own bodies and the role of the sign attached to his body. Women have been imprisoned in the standards of beauty that discourse through their body and social environment is a factor that affects women to feel guilty if they do not have children after a long marriage. Re-emphasize the social environment as 'nature' that has been constructed for a long time, that error in the running or not being in the reproductive function of women, because women who have a uterus and ovaries. Woman and her body will ultimately remain the wrong party, and the parties are pressed by the environment. Women made can not choose to be beautiful as what he wants. And could not decide whether he wants to functioning reproductive organs as part of the body or not. Because the standards have been created and applied to the female body, the female body is not hers personal, but rather belong together environmental, social, economic, political, and cultural.
