Abstract
The purpose of this experimental laboratory study was to know the impact strength of heat-cured acrylic resin after immersed in 15% concentrate of sereh infusum. This experiment was carried out on the heat-cured acrylic resin sample of 65x10x2, 5 mm. The immersion periods were varied from 15 minute, 3 day 19 hour, 7 day 14 hour, 11 day 9 hour, and 15 day 4 hour. There were 42 samples, divided into 30 samples for the treatment group and 12 samples for the control group. Each group consisted of 6 samples. The data were analyzed by One-way ANOVA and followed with LSD test. The result showed that the longer immersion time of acrylic resin in sereh infusum would reduce the impact strength.
