Abstract

One of the dynamic volume and capacity examination is FVC . Several case reports reveal that asthma symptoms can be reduced by eliminating oral infection and dental plaque control therapy through intraoral treatment with the oral cavity cleaning techniques by giving pressure on the inflamed gingiva with sickle- called “Assisted Drainage Therapy”(ADT) , but to date there has been no experimental studies that prove the effectiveness of the increase in the value of the ADT method FVC in asthmatics adults. Purpose. Proving increase in the value of FVC ( Forced Vital Capacity ) of post- Assisted Drainage allergic asthma in adult patients. Method. The study subjects 14 people who meet the criteria . Asthmatics FVC values were measured before and after ADT therapy . All patients underwent ADT . After treatment , the measurement was repeated and compared. Results. Pre-treatment and post-treatment FVC value was 65.02 and 73.22 . The test results are the result of a significant difference between the two groups ( p = 0.000 ). Conclusion. There is an increase in the value of post- Assisted Drainage FVC in adult patients with allergic asthma .
