Abstract
This research aimed to determine the content of crude fiber and organic matter of bark sengon which has been fermented with probiotic as an alternative feed for livestock. This research used natural probiotics as fermentor. Twenty sample of bark sengon were randomly grouped into four treatment. Each treatment group consisted of bark sengon and 2% mollases, then treated for seven days as follow : without probiotic (P0) ; 2% probiotic (P1) ; 4% probiotic (P2) and 6% probiotic (P3). The content of crude fiber and organic matter of fermented bark sengon were analyzed by proximate analysis. The result showed that fermentation of bark sengon with probiotic up to 6% gave no significant impact (p>0.05) to the content of crude fiber and organic matter content.
