Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the effect of bark sengon tree fermentation to dry matter and crude protein as feed alternative. This research used completely randomized design method with 4 different treatments. There will be 5 replication treatment to each. Group P0 as a control did not use probiotic. Where as 3 other treatments used probiotic. Group P1 used 2% probiotic, P2 with 4% and P3 with 6%. The time of fermentation for each experiment was seven days. The result of this research showed that dry matter was decrease and crude protein was increase for different treatment. It different significantly showed with control (p<0,05). Optimal dry matter decreased was found on P3 that used 6% probiotic. The optimal crude protein increase was found on P3 also which used 6% probiotic
