Abstract
The research was aimed to make standaritation semen quality of merino rams. Semen was collected twice a week using artificial vagina from two mature merino rams. The research was descriptive and presented in the form of pictures and tables. Parameter observed were macroscopic test (volume, smell, colour, consistency, pH) and microscopic test (motility, concentration, life percentage spermatozoa and percentage abnormality spermatozoa). Result of the research has shown that semen quality of merino rams in Teaching Farm vaculty of veterinary UNAIR were good and deserve to be frozen semen for insemination
