Abstract

This study was conducted to find out the contents of dry matter, crude fiber and crude protein of baggase which was ammoniated using urea. Completely randomized method was used for design study in three treatments and seven replications. Three treatment group were P0 was 25 grams of bagasse added with 0% urea, water; P1 was 25 grams of bagasse added with 3% urea, water; P2 was 25 grams of baggase added with 6% urea, water. Analysis towards dry matter, crude fiber and crude protein was done after the baggase was ammoniated for fourteen days. The data were analyzed with Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) followed by Duncan’s multiple range test with 5% significance. The result showed that the addition of urea significantly different (p<0,05) for increased contents of dry matter, crude protein and decreased contents of crude fiber.
