Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the potencial of electrolyte and multivitamin suplementation commersial as thermotolerance agent on liver of chronic heat stressed broiler. 24 broiler with 3 weeks ages divide into 4 differents groups ( n = 6) and separated into two different chamber (A and B). One group (control/PO) was caged at low temperature (21-23°C) chamber (A), while the others (Pl; P2; P3) were caged at high temperature (34,5-35 °C) chamber (B). Group P1 administrated only with water, groups P2 and P3 administrated respectively with normal dose (1 gram/4 It water) and double dose (2 gram/41t water) comersial electrolyte and multivitamin. After seventeen days of treatment all broiler were sacrified for liver macropathology and histopatology examination. Collected data for liver weight was analysed with Anava test and the data for histopathology changes was analysed with Kruskal-wallis test. This Study showed that both normal or double dose supplementation of electrolyte and multivitamin failed to inhibit the changes of liver pathology on chronic heat-stressed broiler.
