Abstract

The aim of research was to study the crude fibre and crude protein of rice brand which were fermented Acidothermus cellulolyticus and Aspergillus terreus of liquid cattle rumen. Design study was completely randomized design with ten treatments and three replications. Ten treatment groups were P0 was 250 g rice brand added 3 % molasses and B.0 % + J.0 % ; P1 was 250 g rice brand added 3 % molasses and B.10 % + J.10 % ; P2 was 250 g rice brand added 3 % molasses and B.20 % + J.10 % ; P3 was 250 g rice brand added 3 % molasses and B.30 % + J.10 % ; P4 was 250 g rice brand added 3 % molasses and B.10 % + J.20 % ; P5 was 250 g rice brand added 3 % molasses and B.20 % + J.20 % ; P6 was 250 g rice brand added 3 % molasses and B.30 % + J.20 % ; P7 was 250 g rice brand added 3 % molasses and B.10 % + J.30 % ; P8 was 250 g rice brand added 3 % molasses and B.20 % + J.30 % ; P9 was 250 g rice brand added 3 % molasses and B.30 % + J.30 %. Proximate analysis were done after rice brand fermented for seven days. The data were analyzed with Analysis of Variance followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test. The result showed that the effect of Acidothermus cellulolyticus and Aspergillus terreus could decrease crude fibre of rice brand, P2 (28,9637 %), P3 (29,2334 %), P8 (29,4953 %), P4 (29,6460 %), P7 (30,2299 %), P6 (30,3719 %), P9 (30,5814 %) but were significantly higher (p<0,05) than P5 (31,1002 %), P1 (31,9793 %), P0 (34,1067 %), could increase crude protein of rice brand, P2 (13,97 %), P5 (12,87 %), P3 (12,84 %), P8 (12,74 %) but were significantly higher (p<0,05) than P7 (12,71 %), P6 (12,44 %), P4 (12,36 %), P9 (12,27 %), P1 (12,25 %), P0 (10,9 %).
