Abstract

Stock of Escherichia coli was analized for quantitation methode with Total Plate Count, Most Probable Number and Spectrophotometer methode. The result shows that the different between the three methodes are significant (p<0,05). TPC methode needs colonial futures of colony and shows lack of accuracy, MPN method is good for low numbers, simple to run and read but have kick of accuracy and needs large volume of glassware and space. Spectrophotometer method is simple to run and have an accurate result, if we already have a stand-art curve.
