Abstract

The purpose of this study was to calculate the percentage of capacitation and acrosome reaction in the media freezing plus the FAA after centrifugation. Semen from simental bull was used to acquire protein FAA. Treatments were divided into four groups; first group as a control were not given FAA, second group were given FAA 5μg, third group were given FAA 10μg, fourth group were given FAA 15μg. After be thawing, centrifugation, given EBSS and incubation at CO2 incubator than perfomed capacitation and acrosome reaction spermatozoa. The data were compared using ANOVA test and Duncan multiple range test. The results of capacitation and acrosome reaction on frozen semen after centrifugation were showed significant differences between treatments (p<0,05). The conclusions of this study 15 μg were able increased capacitation and acrosome reaction on frozen semen after centrifugation.
