Abstract

The aim of this research was to compare the effectiveness between Calcium hypochlorite and Alkyl Dimethyl Benzyl Ammonium Chlorida (ADBAC in eradicating AI virus solate /ck/Indonesia/BL/03 (H5N1) in wet feces. The design study used in this experimental was split-split plot which was disinfectant calcium hypochlorite 1% and ADBAC 0,6% as a first factor and contact time as a second factor. The data were analyzed by analysis of variant and followed by Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) with level of confidence 5%. The results of this study showed that Calcium hypochlorite 1% was more effective than ADBAC 0,6% in killing AI virus late /ck/Indonesia/bl/03 (H5N1) in wet feces. Unlike ADBAC 0,6%, the virus concentration of 105 could not be reisolated after being treated with Calcium hypochlorite 1%.
