Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan studi kuantitatif deskriptif di 29 kabupaten di Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis bahwa variabel pendidikan, penduduk usia produktif dan investasi berpengaruh secara simultan dan parsial terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan model regresi data panel dengan pendekatan Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa variabel pendidikan, penduduk usia porduktif dan investasi secara bersama-sama (simultan) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di 29 kabupaten di Jawa Timur pada periode 2008-2012 dengan tingkat kepercayaan 99 persen. Hasil estimasi menggunakan FEM juga menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial (sendiri-sendiri) ketiga variabel tersebut yaitu pendidikan, usia produktif dan investasi berpengaruh signifikan pada tingkat kepercayaan lima persen terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di 29 kabupaten di Jawa Timur pada periode tahun 2008-2012.
