Abstract
The Intelligence Quotient (IQ) and lately the Emotional Quotient (EQ) have been much studied and discussed, involving the relation of these scores with job and career. Stoltz's introduction of Adversity Quotient (AQ) leads this study to examine its relation with career orientation. Subjects are employee of PT. Danzas, Surabaya and Jakarta in air freight departement. Data were collected from AQ test with ARP Quick take Tm and career orientation with questions. Data were analyzed with SPSS programme for Windows. Results indicate that there is an influence of Adversity Quotient through career orientation.
