Abstract

This Thesis studies (investigates) the influence of the program of income Generating Activities (UPPKS) to the income of the families in Tulungagung Regency. This study uses the frame work of' cross sections' observation. The population of the research is the house wives of pre welfare families and welfare families I who are the members of UPPKS and have productive small business in Tulungagung Regency with the total sample of 119 people. The data processing of' this Multiple Regression Analysis uses SPSS Version 9.01 analysis technique. Based on the analysis result of 4 variables, the programe income generating activities (UPPKS) wich includes capital lending,skill training, marketing and management, there are 3 variable that have influence on the income of the families, namely : capital lending, marketing and management with the significance level of p = 0,00. However all variables (3) together are having significance influence to the UPPKS. From the three variables it is known that the influence of capital lending on the income of families is 27117, the influence of marketing is 38810 and the influence of management is 7935. By knowing the influence above it can be conclude that marketing is the most influential factor on the income of the families of UPPKS members in Tulungagung Regency. The Multiple Regression analysis in this study uses regression formula : Y=311566+27117 X1+0 X,+38810X2 +7935X4
