Abstract
This research is held to know two filings, (1) Whether Carmel. competence, government, trade association, and jobber, have direct influence toward the increasing of family income, and (2) whether the increasing of family income has direct influence toward family economic empowerment. The objective of this research is explaining the effect of family-scale bandeng hatchery fisheries toward the increasing of family income and family economic empowerment. There were some factors identified have influence toward the increasing of family income and family economic empowerment. there were Canner competence, government, trade association, and jobber. This, research took fanner as the sample from family-scale bandeng hatchery fisheries (HSRT) with the sample unit is family. Sampling technique used was simple random sampling (SRS) with the questionnaire as the tool'? Done with data validation and data reliability lest, researcher used descriptive analysis ;in([ path analvsis. Based on the path analysis the researcher can conclude the result ol'this research. There were three factors have significant influence toward the increasing tanner income and the family income empowerment. There were farmer competence, government, and jobber. There has not significant influence toward the increasing farmer income and the family income empowerment. This faGor was trade association. While the farmer income increases, the tamily economic empowerment was occurred. There was also a dominant factor that influences the increasing farmer income and the Family income empowerment. This factor was jobber. In fact this is relevant with the situation in research region.
