Abstract
The objective of this study is to identify the dynamic aspect of relationships among the members of t:arekat that accompany pol itical development. This study is conducted 1n the region of Kudus I central Java, The respondencs are the leaders (~), as well as follow.r$ (murid) of two groups of tarekac named Oadiriyah ~ NaQ~~aDdiyah and NaQsyabandiyah Kha11~~xah. The present study has interviewed 15 leaders and 50 followers.
