Abstract

The purposes of this study were to: 1) analyze the difference of average income of the enterprise layer farm and the independent layer farm in Blitar Regency and 2) analyze the rate of efficiency ratio of the enterprise and independent layer farm based on the investments, analysis of production fare, income, profit/deficit, and financial analysis (return cost ratio, break even point, margin of safety, payback period, and profitability). The research was conducted on May 20th to July 21st, 2015. The primary and secondary data were collected through interview and observations. The survey results showed that both enterprise and independent layer farms were apt to be further developed. Descriptive analysis was managed by using economic equation formula which is R/C ratio, break even point, margin of safety, and profitability. The results revealed that the average of R/C of the independent farm reaches 1.30, while the average of R/C of the enterprise farm reaches 1.23. The average BEP of the independent farm was as much as Rp 12,698 and the average BEP of the enterprise farm is as much as Rp 12,972. The average of margin of safety of the independent farm reaches 11% and the average of margin of safety of the enterprise farm reaches 5%. The average of economic and capital profitability of the independent farm were 61.40% and 51.12%, respectively, while the average of economic and capital profitability of the enterprise farm were 59.24% and 53.32%, respectively.
