Abstract

The aim of this study for indetification the antibody of B-Victoria and B-Yamagata subtype on stray cat in Indonesia. The study was begun on January 2016 in the Avian Influenza Reseacrh Center, Universitas Airlangga (AIRC-Unair) Surabaya. Stray cats were collected from traditional market in Surabaya, Sidoarjo, Gresik, Lamongan and Jakarta. The materials for this study was sera and swab nasopharyng of the cats. The research method utilize by Hemaglutination Inhibiton (HI) test for sera sample and Hemaglutination (HA) test for swab sample. The result of this research showed that twenty six sera positive sample of B-Victoria antibody, forty seven sera positive samples of B-Yamagata antibody and twenty four sera positive samples of both antibody. Whereas swab sample, there was sixty seven negative samples.
