Abstract

Over the past few decades control of infectious disease in humans and animals has largely relied on the use antibiotics and another chemical agents. In contrast, livestock industry now faced with the restriction of the use of antibiotics and chemical agents for original animal products. The consequence of this withdrawal for the poultry industry in Indonesia is reduction of productivity due to an increased incidence of infection by certain pathogens. In order to overcome these restrictions, the use of vaccine to control infectious disease is more expectant to avoid dependence upon the use of antibiotic and other chemical agents. Moreover the use of vaccine is more natural, safe, effective and effecient to enhance resistance and to obstruct the development of infection agent. One of vaccine materials has being explorated and it has good prospected is recombinant vaccine of protein membrane of sporozoite that can be developed, manipulated artificial producible and applicable. In order to realize that principal necessary performed isolation and characterization of protein membrane of E. tenella sporozoite by extraction of protein membrane of E. tenella sporozoite using SDS-PAGE and Dot Blot. Briefly, Isolation and identification of sporozoites membrane protein of E. tenella by SDS-PAGE was conformity with characterization by immunoblotting (Dot Blot) for protein with molecule weight of 17 kDa. sporozoite membrane protein, E. tenella
