Abstract

In Indonesia Cattle are a rapidly growing commodity in the community. But milk production began to decline along with the decline in the number of dairy cows in Indonesia. One of the causes is the presence of repeat breeder disease. Repeat breeder is a disease experienced by female cows that have normal cycles and has been mated 3 times with males or semen fertil males but not pregnant. The purpose of this study was to isolate non specific bacteria in the dairy cattle reproductive tract that has a repeat breeder to isolate. Bacteria isolation was done by Gram staining method, Catalase test, Motility test, Spore test, advanced biochemical test using TSIA, Mannitol and Glucosa media. The result of observation on 10 bacterial samples was obtained by Gram positive bacteria in the form of coccus with white round colonies and converting MSA medium to yellowishness of 2/10 (20%) is sample number 4 and 5. Gram negative bacterium form coccobacil with metallic green round colony In the EMBA a number of 5/10 (50%) ie sample number 2,4,7,9 and 10. Gram positive bacteria with bacil shape and white round colonies on TSA and BA medium 5/10 (50%) is on sample numbers 1, 3, 6, 8 and 9.Some of the non-specific bacteria that can be isolated are genus Corynebacterium 4/10 (40%), genus Staphylococcus 2/10 (20%) and genus Escherichia 5/10 (50%) which is a class of non-specific bacteria targeted in this study.
