Abstract
The aim of this research was determined the prevalence and infection degrees of gastrointestinal helminthiasis on quails in sub-district Ngantru, district Tulungagung. The research was conducted in February-March 2016 with 80 samples of stool examination in the Helmintology laboratory, Parasitology Departement Airlangga University. On examination found some kind of worms eggs, which were: Heterakis gallinarum, Capillaria sp., and Raillietina sp. the result of this reseach showed that (27.5%) of quails age 3-6 weeks and (17.5%) of quails age 6-58 weeks. According McMaster method, found 1-499 egg per gram was ratively mild infection degrees. On the statistical analysis showed the prevalence of quails age 3-6 weeks with quails age 6-58 weeks helminthiasis were not significantly different (p>0.05). Rather than infection degrees of quails age 3- 6 weeks with quails age 6-58 weeks were not significantly different (p>0.05).
