Prambors Radio is the biggest radio network in Indonesia. Its First radio station and head office were located in central Jakarta and launched on March 18, 1971. Prambors radio is one of the most popular radios in Indonesia, especially for young listeners. Prambors is well known as radio for young people in Indonesia. Previously, Prambors was a radio broadcast that initiated only group of young people from Central Jakarta then develop larger until today. The audiences include people with different kinds of work, age, culture, economic and social conditions.Radio is regarded as the media that able to broadcast a satisfying information, even though it is only equipped with only audio element. Radio broadcasts can manage information in the form of news broadcast, interview, editorial, direct report, talk shows, music and others. After completing this internship the writerhas been an excellent and rewarding experience. The writer has been able to meet and network with so many people that he surely will be able to help him with opportunities in the future.Throughout the internship, the writercould understand more about the definition of a radio management as news media staff and prepare himself to become a responsible and innovative in the future as a worker. When he was first started, the writer did not think that he was going to be able to make sit in an office for around seven to eight hours a day, and five days a week not include homework. So, the first day the writer was very shocked and do not know what he had to do. Finally, the chief of Prambors radio Surabaya gave his explanation about his job description. From this internship and time management during working in Prambors he had to learn how to motivate, discipline himself, be considerate/patient, self-trust, take initiative and the ability to solve problems. Besides, his communication skill is strengthening as well when communicating with others. During the internship period, the writer has received criticism and advice from chief, program planner staff, and also internship friend when mistakes were he made. But, the writer knows that advices are useful guidance for him to change and avoid himself making the same mistakes again. Prambors radio Surabaya also must give a chance to the next internship after the writer. So, university student could learn how difficult to manage radio management overall.
