Abstract
Tujuan penelitian: menganalisis perbedaan kapasitas fungsional prostesis bawah siku antara terminal device three jaw chuck (TJC) dan five arctuated finger (FAF). Desain: experimental, single group without control post test only. Partisipan: 12 orang subyek laki-laki tanpa amputasi dengan rata-rata umur 31.33 + 3.80 tahun dan dominansi tangan kanan Intervensi: prosthesis simulator TJC dan FAF dengan socket khusus (bypass socket) digunakan oleh subyek tanpa amputasi. Pengukuran: uji Southampton Hand Assessment Procedure (SHAP) untuk menilai pola grasping dan Box and Block Test (BBT) untuk menilai deksteritas dan kontrol. Analisis data dengan uji pair-t test. Hasil: terminal device TJC unggul secara signifikan dibanding FAF pada uji BBT (TJC = 14.83+3.18 blocks Vs FAF = 6.66+2.14 blocks; p=0.000). Pada uji SHAP, TD TJC dapat menyelesaikan tugas lebih cepat secara bermakna pada 16 tugas dibanding TD FAF, yaitu light cylindrical, light lateral, light tip, light extension, heavy sphere, heavy tripod, heavy cylindrical, heavy lateral, heavy tip, pickup coins, page turning, jar lid, carton pouring, lifting light object, rotate key dan open/close zip dengan p<0.05; sedangkan 10 tugas lainnya tidak ada perbedaan bermakna antara TD TJC dibanding TD FAF, yaitu light sphere, light tripod, heavy extension, simulated food cutting, glass jug pouring, lifting heavy object, lifting tray, rotate screw, door handle dan button board dengan p>0.05. Kesimpulan: terminal device TJC memiliki pola grasping dan kemampuan deksteritas dan kontrol yang lebih baik dibanding TD FAF menurut uji SHAP dan BBT.
