Abstract

Background: Eyelid tumor is 15% of facial tumor and 5-10% of all skin tumor (Gundongan, 2015). The epidemiology of eyelid tumor is still rarely investigated in Indonesia. Objective: This research aims to study the profile of patients with eyelid tumor to improve the understanding of eyelid tumor type and services for patients. Method: This research was a retrospective study by assessing patient’s medical record and analyzed it descriptively. Result: There were 42 patients, 71,43% with malignant tumor and 33,33% of it were SGC. 43,90% patients were between age of 41 - 60 years old, 56,82% were male, 40% each were farmers and students, 16,67% were from Surabaya. There were 59,52% patients with tumor on their left eye and 50% were in upper lid. From the diagnostic procedure 62,16% of the clinical diagnosis and 68,75% FNAB result were matched with histopathologic diagnosis. 59,52% patients underwent excision. Conclusion: With many incomplete patient’s data, this research needs further studies to complete the data and increase the accuracy.
