Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of laserpuncture shooting on blood cholesterol levels of male Mojosari duck. This research used 18 samples with complete random design research method. The study was divided into three groups, control group (P0 i.e. without laserpuncture shooting) and two treatment groups (P1 i.e. laserpuncture shootings with a dose of 0.2 joules and P2 i.e. laserpuncture shooting at a dose of 0.5 joules). The shooting of laserpunctures was carried out for eight weeks at a six-days interval. The results of the study in the form of blood samples and checked the total blood cholesterol. Data were analyzed using ANOVA test followed by Duncan. The results showed that the shooting of laserpuncture at growth point can lower blood cholesterol levels of male Mojosari duck.
