Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the digestibility value of protein in formula feed andits utilization by cat. Experimental animals used in this study were 18 cats. This research was conductedby providing various complete feed to experimental animals. The experimental design used was the completely randomized design with three treatments and ,six replications as time of collection feces. P0 was a control treatment while P1 and P2 used as complete feed with different formula. The target observation was to know the digestibility protein value of formula feeds for the cats. Result of research showed that protein digestibility value of P1 and P2 by cat were not significantly difference (p>0.05). But both were significant different from the control feed (p<0.05). The best result of protein digestibility was P1 as 65.78% and P2 as 71.55%, the lowest result was P0 as 49.3880%
