Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bukti empirik melalui pembuktian atas pengaruh transformational leadership dan perceived organizational support terhadap employee engagement, organizational commitment, dan employee performance. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif eksplanatori dengan populasi penelitian 5β7 karyawan 7 (tujuh) hotel berbintang di Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan yang mengimplementasikan transformational leadership. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebesar ββ7 karyawan (4γ%) berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan perempuan dan teknik pengambilan sampel proporsionate stratified random sampling. Hasil penelitian pengaruh langsung variabel eksogen terhadap variabel endogen menunjukkan berpengaruh signifikan dengan arah positif yaitu (1) pengaruh transformational leadership, dan perceived organizational support terhadap employee engagement, (β) pengaruh transformational leadership, perceived organizational support, dan employee engagement terhadap organizational commitment, dan (γ) pengaruh transformational leadership, perceived organizational support, employee engagement, dan organizational support terhadap employee engagement. Selanjutnya pengujian pengaruh tidak langsung melalui variabel perantara menunjukkan (1) employee engagement dapat menjadi perantara secara parsial pengaruh transformational leadership dan perceived organizational support terhadap organizational commitment, (β) organizational commitment dapat menjadi perantara secara parsial pengaruh transformational leadership, perceived organizational support dan employee engagement terhadap employee performance.
