Fracture is a heavy pain condition caused by traumatic and inflammation process during accident. Adequate analgesic drug is an important part of therapeutic management used for relieving pain. This study aimed to see the used of metamizol analgesic such as type, doses, route, frequency, duration of therapy and potential Drug Related Problem (DRP) that may occur. Data were obtained retrospectively observational using time limited sampling method within period 2014 - 2017 in Airlangga University Teaching Hospital Surabaya. The results showed in 27 patients who met the inclusion criteria, switch and/or combination metamizol was the most analgesic used (52%), next is only metamizol (37%), combination of two analgesic (8%), and combination of three. Only intravenous route was used. Types, route, doses, and duration analgesic were variously given based on individual condition. Two types DRP identified in this study are potential drug interactions and potential side effect.
