Abstract

The purpose of this studied was to determine how seroprevalence of toxoplasmosis with MAT techniques and knowing of management factors that effect toxoplasmosis in beef cattle in Jati Agung subdistrict South Lampung. This studied is a descriptive analitic with 25 sample of beef cattle serum and the sample is examined at the laboratory parasitology of Veterinery hall of Lampung. The results obtained seroprevalence of toxoplasmosis in Jati Agung Subdistrict South Lampung is 55%. If can be concluded that livestock infected with T. gondii does not always have abortion. The influence factors are feed, shepherding, and cage. Influence factor which has no effect are the performance of livestock and breeders education.
