Abstract

This research was aimed to determine the effect of laserpuncture on biometry of male Mojosari dusck. This research used 18 samples with complete random design research method. The research was divided into three groups, control group (T0 i.e. without laserpuncture induction) and two treatment groups (T1 i.e. laserpuncture induction with a dose of 0.2 Joule and T2 i.e. laserpuncture induction with a dose of 0.5 Joule). The treatment was carried out for seven weeks at a six-days interval of lasepuncture induction begin at the age of two weeks. Data were analyzed using ANOVA followed by Duncan test. The result showed that the laserpuncture induction at growth point with a dose of 0.2 Joule and 0.5 Joule can increase the biometry of male Mojosari duck that were body height, body length, chest circumference, thigh length and thigh circumference.
