Abstract

The aim of this research are to aprove that Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) with difference level dose can increase pregnancy number after five day’s artificial insemination. This research using cattle that injected by aquabidest and hCG intramuscular. This study using twenty four cattle repeat breeding and its devide into 4 groups that contains 6 cattles each group. P0 are a control group that injected by Aquabidest 1ml/each cattle/im, P1 are group that injected by hCG 50 IU 1ml/each cattle/im, P2 are group that injected by hCG 100 IU 1ml/each cattle, P3 are group that injected by hCG 200 IU 1ml/each cattle/im. The pregnancy diagnose was performed on the 90 days after artificial insemination using rectal palpation method. The results presented analyze using Chi-square (2x2) methode. The pregnancy number of P0 and P1 reached the same rate 50%, P2 reached the pregnancy number 100% and the pregnancy number of P3 reached 70%. The conclusion for this research are Human Chorionic Gonadotrpin (hCG) 100 IU 1ml//each cattle/intramuscular is the best dose to incrase the pregnancy number after five days artificial insemination in a cattle in Situbondo district
