Abstract

The Student Press Institute also has an extensive network. Both between student presses and the general public. The news products from the student press began to experience expansion by reporting on national issues, problems in the region, and information about the campus that the general public should know. The extent of the country of Indonesia and also the boundaries of the territory make the network between the student press and the general public be hampered. Therefore, an easy and accurate media is needed to be used as a reference for student press and the wider community. One medium that can be used is a directory, which is a kind of data collection that is managed systematically so that it is easy to use by the wider community. With the development of the era of directories now many are made in the form of online which increasingly adapts to technological developments. So the author feels that there is a need for an 'Online Directory of Student Press Institutions in Indonesia'. This directory contains a daftarof Student Press Institutions in Indonesia besides the data presented has been managed and classified according to Region, College and also Products produced by the Student Press Institute. The author made it in the form of a website with the help of the WordPress platform that has been known to many people.
