Abstract

In ischemic stroke patients the main problem is cerebral bloodflow disruption.Activity in stroke patients is the one of nursing care can be use to increase cerebral blood flow. The combination of theraband proprioseptive neuromuscular facilitaton with active music can improve mottor function of ischemic stroke patients. This study aims to analyze the influence of theraband proprioseptive neuromuscular facilitaton combination with active music to motor function of ischemic stroke patients at RSI Jemursari Surabaya. Design of the research is Quasi Experiment with pre post test control group design.The population of all stroke patients in Azzahra 1 about 41 person. Sample of the reserch is 32 respondents divided into 16 respondents in intervention groups and control groups. In the intervention group was given a combination of theraband PNF with active music for 30 minutes once daily for 1 month. While in the control group is given training in accordance with hospital procedures.Result showed p = 0.000. So, it can be concluded that there is influence of combination theraband PNF with active music to motor function of ischemic stroke patients. Combination theraband PNF with active music that is routinely can increase motor function. Nurse can empower the patient’s family to do the post stroke exercise to minimize the incident of stroke.
