Abstract

In the production process that has been carried out by the company, sometimes there are obstacles that cause damage or deviations to the products produced so that the product cannot be sold or marketed to the customer. In the production process, PT. Surya Pratista Hutama did not experience many problems, but the number of defects that sometimes sometimes fluctuated made PT. Surya Pratista Hutama must be vigilant in carrying out the next production process. Methods that can be used to minimize problems that occur at PT. Surya Pratista Hutama is Six Sigma. In this study, researchers used the Six Sigma method because there are two types of defects that occur in PT. Surya Pratista Hutama namely: broken noodles and charred noodles. In this method, the indicator of success is achieving production with zero defects by means of DMAIC namely define, measure, analyze, improve and control.
