Abstract
This study determines to describe the process of calling meaning-making in Catholic Priests. The meaning-making term refers to the way peole perceive the type of the Meaning of Work itself, particularly a work perceived as a calling which guides the action of choosing career as a Catholic Priest. The study was conducted on Catholic Priest with various ages of ordination and congregations, particularly selected on those who already experienced the presence of calling. Data was collected through qualitative interview and analyzed with Thematic Analysis method. The results shows that the key of the presence of calling establishment is the contact with a Priest, figured as role model which later inspired someone to be a priest. This inspiration is followed by behavior implications that leads to the condition of in search for a calling, the emergence of presence of calling in the form of career decidedness to pursue education in the seminary or monastery, developing the call, getting the fit of concepts between self and values in the priesthood living, urgency to live the call and feel assured to be ordained as a Priest.
