Abstract

First is about how to make online travel translation news that applied by PT. Antar Surya Jaya when they are making travel articles. Promotional language is used by PT. Antar Surya Jaya journalist to persuade more target readers to become potential tourists. By using that language, it is expected that the target would be reached. Even though, making persuade sentence to get more target readers is difficult for me during the internship, the writer got lessons to look for some examples of promotional sentences to get an inspiration to be more creative and the meaning and understand the meaning before the writer translates a passage. Finally, it is about the methods of translating Indonesian-English news which is used by PT. Antar Surya Jaya journalist in translating travel articles. PT. Antar Surya Jaya journalist uses faithful and borrowing translation in translating travel news. Applying faithful and borrowing translation in writing news was not always an easy thing for me during the internship.
