Abstract

Background: Research on human cells odontoblas very difficult by a lack of studies in vitro models. We will introduce the method odontoblas culture of human pulp tissue. Pulp tissue in culture and dideferensiasi will be odontoblast like cells. Objective: To prove phenotype and cell morphology odontoblas like cells by using markers dentine matrix protein - 1 (DMP-1) in adult human pulp cells. Methods: pulp tissue taken from third molar teeth. mandibular impaction in patients with age 14-29 years later cultures taken digestion method for a period of 14 days. measured expression of DMP-1 with immunocytochemical examination.
