Abstract

This experiment used 8 local goats and were divided into two groups (4 goats each). Goats in group 1received intra servical artificial insemination of frozen semen of ettawa goat in diluter Early Balanced SaltSolution (EBSS) media without Caffeine, and goats in group 2 received intra servical artificial insemination of frozen semen of ettawa goat in diluter Early Balanced Salt Solution (EBSS) media with Caffeine. The resultshowed that the percentage of life and motil spermatozoa of semen diluted in media with caffeine were betterthan without caffeine. However, there was no significant difference in the results of pregnancy rates forsemen diluted in EBSS with caffeine or without caffeine
